Analyzer Interface

Main Window (click to enlarge) The Analyzer interface helps design and application engineers gain more insight into equipment performance calculations. The Analyzer interface has been used in several programs created by Rio Software. As part of the RioSelect software framework, it can be integrated easily with either new programs or existing calculation libraries.

Main Screen

Sample Graph (click to enlarge) The main window of the Analyzer provides a maximum view of all inputs and outputs related to a rating. This allows the program to give better feedback; when one input is changed, the effect on several outputs can be viewed immediately.

Units

The Analyzer provides complete support for both English IP and Metric SI units of measure. Users can switch systems at any time, and all inputs and outputs will be converted automatically.

Rating Files

The Analyzer supports saving, opening, and emailing rating files. These files are structured in the industry-standard XML format.

Reports

For a given rating the program can generate a detailed report, which can be printed, viewed on screen, saved to a PDF file, or emailed.

Graphs

Graph Wizard (click to enlarge) One of the most useful design features of the Analyzer is its ability to generate graphs. Graphs enable an engineer to visualize how equipment performs over a range of conditions.

When defining a graph, the user will select any input as the X axis variable, and specify a range for the graph to cover. Optionally, the user could choose a different variable to display on the X axis.

After defining the X axis, the user can set up one or more Y series for the graph. A series can be any output from the rating, and can optionally modify some of the inputs.
